Get the browser

Infinite is the reference browser for the Thread — type a thread:// address, arrive at its spawn, walk through portals into other worlds. Where a world declares a presence relay, the people in it are really there with you.

Downloads — v0.37.0

Every artifact ships with a .sha256 beside it — verify before you run. Releases live on GitHub; the browser is in heavy pre-1.0 development and updates often. If the releases link isn't live yet when you read this, the public mirror is mid-publish — it lands within the day, and this notice disappears with it.

First steps once you're in
  1. Visit thread://worlds.pixygon.io/wayshrine — a quiet place to arrive.
  2. Step through a veil (a portal) — that's the whole web, working.
  3. Then host your own: one JSON file on your own domain — build a world.
What "reference browser" means

The Thread is the standard; Infinite is one implementation of it. Anything that passes the public conformance suite is a Thread browser with equal standing — the specs, not this binary, are the ground truth. Build a better one; we mean it.
